I wrote this book in 1980, I think. It may have been the very first book on this style or if not very close, There was another guy in Boston, Tony Openheimer he wrote “Slap It”. I remember going to Berklee to promote my book and when I was in the Bass Dept Rich Appleman, head of the department told me with surprise that Tony had been in earlier that week promoting his book. He was surprised that we both were unaware of each other and both published books on the same subject at the same time.
