This a work book while there are creative examples for the most part the examples are drilss to develope technique and rhythmical proficiency.

There are 3 ways to use this book.  On the 1st image on the left are 12 one measure phrases using 16th notes. Use these to create a vocabulary of rhythmic lick ideas.

The 2nd  image from the left is a 16 bars study . This is where you get your rhythms together to develop spontanious  improvsation.

The 3rd example from the left is 12 one bar phrases in triplets. You can pick and choose which you would like to work on to increase your vocabulary  licks.

The image to the far right is is on the 3rd section of the book which includes 24 creative examples in one and two bar phrases.  This book can keep your progession to becoming a skilled slapper with a substantial vocabulary!
